Timothy P. Higgins is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). He began his career as a financial advisor in 1999, after graduating from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and joined Flagship Harbor Advisors in 2010 as a Private Wealth Advisor.
Tim Higgins is a proud author of two financial books. He has appeared on The Lou Dobbs radio show, MSNMoney, CNNMoney, and in The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, SmartMoney magazine, and U.S. News, and was named FIVE STAR Wealth Manager in Boston Magazine (2014, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024)*. He specializes in unconventional investment strategies and helping families more efficiently finance college. His office is located 30 miles west of Boston in Westborough, MA.
Tim believes that an personalized and independent perspective, coupled with customized research and advice is critical to helping clients achieve financial well-being. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional he follows a strict code of ethics in developing, implementing and monitoring each client’s financial plan and investment strategy. He holds his General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), Registered Options Principal (Series 4), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63) registrations with LPL Financial. He also holds his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.
Tim lives in Southborough, MA with his wife Erica and two boys.
